Nicole Kidman Nekkid with Kid?
Upcoming Nicole Kidman film garners criticism over inappropriate scene.
One of Nicole Kidman's upcoming films has come under a hail of criticism after it emerged that she shares a bathtub in one scene with her ten year old co-star. The company behind 'Birth', New Line Cinema, have come out to staunchly defend the offending material. Company spokesman Mark Ordesky said "There is no physical contact between Nicole and Cameron (the child actor concerned). They are not nude in the bathtub."
The film sees Kidman's dead husband reincarnated into the body of a child played by Cameron Bright. The movie aims to be provocative in that it shows the plight of a man trapped in a boy's body, but the makers of the film insist that it is not done in a 'horrible or salacious way'.
The young actor concerned has seen a lot of screen time of late after recently starring in Godsend and The Butterfly Effect. He will also be appear in the upcoming Vampire flick Ultraviolet, co-starring with Milla Jovovich of Resident Evil and The Fifth Element fame. The controversy surrounding birth has not bothered him as he has played similar dark roles in previous movies.
