Speculation continues to grow as to whom will take up the mantle of 007 after Pierce Brosnan retires his Walter PPK. A recent poll on skymovies.com has indicated that the general public would like to see Hugh Jackman step into the Bond's tuxedo after he collected 24% of the vote.

Other names mentioned in connection with the role include Clive Owen, Orlando Bloom, Colin Farrell and even singing star Robbie Williams. Brosnan's future has been the subject of many rumours as many feared that he might not return for a swansong; however it is expected that he will make one more Bond movie next year.
Whilst Jackman remains the popular vote after his success in X-Men and Van Helsing insider speculation has led Clive Owen to become the firm favourite with bookies across the globe. Owen can be seen in one of this summer's blockbusters, King Arthur, where he puts in a fine performance which will help him lay claim to one of Hollywood's most celebrated roles.
