Internal Affairs Remake?
Matt Damon reportedly considering role.
Matt Damon is reportedly in negotiations to star in Martin Scorsese's remake of the Internal Affairs. Should he sign up for the project he will line up alongside Leonardo Di Caprio in a role that Brad Pitt had previously been linked to.
The remake, which will be known as The Departed, tells the tale of an undercover police agent and a criminal mole in Internal Affairs, the movie will be set in New York and deals with Irish-American gangs as opposed to the Triads in the original movie.
Internal Affairs is widely regarded as the finest cop drama to hit screens in recent times and has spawned a prequel and a sequel, should The Departed even match a fraction of its success then expect Scorsese's film to be a hit.
