Mission Impossible 3 Postponed
Sequel held back for at least following severe production problems.
Having recently run into production problems, Mission: Impossible 3 is now to be postponed for at least a year. This news coincides with the announcement that Tom Cruise is to take the leading role in War of the Worlds, an adaptation of H.G. Wells classic tale about a Martian Invasion.
M: I 3 is now tentatively due to start shooting next summer and should see the light of day for a May 2006 release. Cruise's fans may be slightly disappointed with the delay but at least they can be happy in the knowledge that he will be starring in Steven Spielberg's latest blockbuster, War of the Worlds is now scheduled for release sometime next summer.
