Johnny Vegas in Pirates Sequels?
British comic could feature in forthcoming POTC sequels thanks to handy acquaintance in Johnny Depp.
Another unlikely friendship has blossomed in Hollywood, that between Johnny Depp and British comedian Johnny Vegas. Despite the fact that the only thing that seems to tie them together is their same first name, the dynamic duo have hit it off and now Depp wants the heavyset comedian to star in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.
The actor wants to bring more of a comedic presence to the sequels and thinks that Vegas would have a lot to add to the movies. Depp recently said 'We need more of a comic element in the next two movies and I think Johnny would be great. He could play the first mate. I'm sure he'd be up for it.'
