Patrick Stewart Recovers from Surgery
X-Men star recovering in Los Angeles.
Patrick Stewart has recently undergone surgery to widen an artery in his heart and is currently recuperating in Los Angeles. The sci-fi star went for a routine check-up when doctors discovered the problem and recommended that he go through the procedure in order to prevent any serious condition developing.
The operation is said to have been a success and will not affect any of his future projects, so X-Men fans can take a deep breath as he is certain to reprise his role as Professor X. Unfortunately some of his admirers were forced to miss his appearance at a sci-fi festival in Toronto due to his stay in hospital, but it's a small sacrifice to pay for the chance to see him on our screens in the future.
