New Superman Project Takes Off
Passion of the Christ star Jim Caviezel reportedly cast as the new Superman.
Despite major production problems so far, Superman looks like it is finally getting off the ground and the film should be up, up and away in no time. Having obtained a new director, Bryan Singer, the project looks like it has also found its leading man... none other than Jim Caviezel. The actor was last seen as Jesus in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ and his massive exposure looks like it has won him the coveted role.
A whole host of names have been linked to the project in the past but few stars appear to have been willing to put pen to paper due to difficulties in pre-production and the curse of Superman. The film seems to have stabilised of late and now Caviezel looks set to don the famous red cape and take to the skies.
