It looks like the Dukes of Hazzard will be hitting our screens sooner than we thought after it was revealed that Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott have landed the lead roles. The comedic duo will play the Duke cousins and hope into the famous orange roadster taking on the corrupt town officials with Burt Reynolds apparently lined up for the lead villain's role.
There's still no word on whether Jessica Simpson has finally landed the part of Daisy Dukes yet, despite being heavily linked with the film nothing has been confirmed yet. Should she claim the famous hot pants The Dukes of Hazzard looks set to be a sure-fire hit, so start you engines ladies and gents for what is sure to be one of the biggest hits of 2005.
