Should shake up the event a little!
Chris Rock will host next year's Oscars in a bid to shake up the ceremony. It is hoped that the controversial comedian will attract new viewers and bring a fresh look to the world's most famous awards.
Many people have questioned his casting as he is known for not pulling his punches with delivering his stand-up routine. While hosting the VMAs he famously mocked the stars in attendance drawing a lot of gasps after his famous comments about R Kelly.
